Biography

Karron Graves was born in Janesville, WI, and grew up in Sarasota, FL, and New York City. She was a competitive swimmer in FL and a 2-time Junior Olympics competitor. In NYC, she attended the Professional Children's School and LaGuardia H.S. of Performing Arts. She holds an AB from Princeton University and an MFA from the Yale School of Drama. Graves started performing as a child in musical theatre and with The Metropolitan Opera, where she performed for six seasons. She made her television debut in "Saturday Night Live" in 1986, as 'The Girl Scout' opposite Phil Hartman, starred in the PBS/Wonderworks Series "The Fig Tree" (1987) with Doris Roberts and Teresa Wright, and gained attention in Peter Benchley's CBS prime time pilot "Dolphin Cove" (1989) as Katie Larson. On stage, she originated the role of Clara in the world premiere of Arthur Miller's "Danger:Memory!"
