Judy Greer

Judy Greer pursued artistic formation by attending specialised dance training (classical Russian ballet) during youth, followed by theatre education at Winston Churchill High School and The Theatre School at DePaul University, from which she graduated with a BFA. Early in her career she accepted small screen and supporting screen roles, combining work in romantic comedies, dramas, and independent films. She developed recurring parts in television, and voice-acting in animation. Greer expanded into writing a memoir and directing a feature film. Her working methods include alternating between ensemble and supporting roles, embracing both comedic and dramatic material, and choosing projects across film, television, and animation. Over time, her career has moved from early small roles through increasing responsibility in screen presence, leading roles in TV series, voice-over, and production-side work, with recurring partnerships with writers, voice cast, and film directors.
