Biography

Sue Cook's broadcasting career spans more than twenty years, presenting mostly live shows on both radio and TV. She began as a DJ on London's Capital Radio before moving to BBC Radio then BBC TV where she became a household face anchoring the daily live current affairs show 'Nationwide'. Other high-rated live shows followed: 'Breakfast Time', 'Out of Court', 'Crimewatch', and the annual telethon 'Children in Need'. She was awarded an Honorary PhD by Leicester University for services to broadcasting and voted one of the nation's favourite voices while presenting the weekly Radio 4 programme 'Making History'. Her first novel, 'On Dangerous Ground', pub. Hodder Headline, was published in 2006 and she is presently writing her second, due out in 2007.
