Biography

Lindsey is a graduate of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts and the Humber School of Comedy Writing and Performance. Raised in Toronto and Montreal, Lindsey started acting professionally at age 10, playing the lead role in Young People's Theatre's musical production of 'Babe'. Many musicals and movies-of-the-week later, Lindsey went to London, U.K, to dive into an intense classical theatre training at LAMDA. In her late 20's, she fell in love with improvisation, sketch comedy, and screenwriting, which led her to Second City and the Humber School of Comedy Writing and Performance. Realizing that no one could flop at stand up as much as she had during that time, Lindsey continued to hone her comedy at L.A's famed Groundlings school. That season in L.A birthed many short stories and two film scripts. Back in Toronto, Lindsey wrote, directed, and starred in "Two Doors Twice" at the Toronto Fringe Theatre and her writing and screenwriting started getting noticed. Quarterfinalist
