Manuela Ciucur is a Romanian-born actress, graduated from National University of Theatre and Film "I.L. Caragiale" in Bucharest, with an important career in theatre, film, radio and television for more than 30 years. Actress of Bulandra Company Bucharest, member of the Union of European Theatres, played more than 50 parts, including "Hermia" in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by Shakespeare, "Irina" in "Three Sisters" by Chekhov, "Marcela" in "The Gardener's Dog" by Lope de Vega, "Portia" in "Julius Caesar" by Shakespeare, "Elmire" in "Tartuffe" by Molière, "Ismene" in "Antigone" by Sophocles, "Leontine" in "The Triumph of Love" by Marivaux, "Albany" "King Lear" by Shakespeare, "Ms. Shin / God" in "The Good Person of Szechwan" by Brecht, "Gina Ekdal" in "The Wild Duck" by Ibsen or "Zinaida" in "Ivanov" by Chekhov. Has worked with many great directors such as Andrei Serban, Liviu Ciulei, Alexandru Darie or Catalina Buzoianu.
