Camilla Carr

"Liz en Septiembre", a film by Fina Torres with screenplay by Ms. Torres and Ms. Carr, is in production in Venezuela. This is an adaptation of Jane Chambers' play "Last Summer at Bluefish Cove", of which Camilla co-produced the original award-winning West Coast production. Camilla Carr's most recent screenplay, "Illumination" (an adaptation of Nobel prize recipient Thomas Mann's last novella, "The Black Swan" is in development with producer Stratton Leopold. Her first play, "All About Bette: An Interlude With Bette Davis", has been optioned by two-time Tony Award winning producer, Michael A. Jenkins, who will take it to London's West End, Fall 2012. David Schweizer ("And God Created Whales") is set to direct. The play was first work-shopped under Mr. Schweizer's direction at the Public Theatre in NYC.
