Biography

Heather Cappiello is a cable and network director helming top TV shows including recent episodes of Fear The Walking Dead, The Walking Dead: World Beyond, Chicago Fire, FBI, the reboot of Law & Order and the upcoming season finale for FBI: Most Wanted. Heather is an alumnus of the inaugural DGA Craft and Mentorship Program, was selected to participate in the CBS Directing Initiative and wrote and directed the award-winning short film, Ruby's Tuesday. Heather is also an accomplished theater director and former script supervisor. A life-long admirer of dance as an art form, Heather recently directed two site-specific dance performances and the short dance films, BREAK GLASS and REFRAME. Heather received her BA from UC Berkeley and her MA in Theatre Directing from London's Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Heather is an active member of The Directors Guild of America (DGA) and the DGA Women's Steering Committee.
