Jesse Eisenberg is an American actor, writer, director, and comedian. Born in New York, he discovered his passion for acting at the age of ten and began participating in theater plays. Over time, he continued to develop his career and made his professional debut in The Gathering, an Arje Shaw play Off-Broadway. His first television role was in the series Get Real (1999), and from there, he started taking roles in films like Cursed (2005), The Squid and the Whale (2005), and starred in Adventureland (2009). However, his breakout role came in Zombieland (2009), and he later gained fame with The Social Network (2010), where he portrayed Mark Zuckerberg. He also voiced Blu, the protagonist of the animated films Rio (2011, 2014). In 2022, he made his directorial debut with When You Finish Saving the World, and in 2024, he wrote, directed, and acted in A Real Pain, where he received Oscar nominations. With a career spanning film, theater, and direction, Eisenberg continues to demonstrate his versatility and talent in the industry.
