Biography

Jeanette Driver was born in Manchester, England, the middle child in a family of seven. Jeanette's passion for acting began at age eight, while watching Jennifer Jones in "Duel in the Sun" As a teenager Jeanette worked on the weekends as an usherette at The Royal Exchange Theatre where she observed acclaimed and distinguished actors such as Tom Courtenay, Liam Neeson, Janet Mcteer, among others, perform many times. Sold on acting, Jeanette won a grant to study at Drama School in London and supported herself by modeling and waitressing. On graduating, she performed in theatre's across the UK including, The Young Vic, touring company and Vanessa Redgrave's Moving Theatre Company. Following many appearances on British and European television, Jeanette moved to Los Angeles. Jeanette played Nora Helmer in Ingmar Bergman's "Nora" at, The Pacific Resident Theatre in Venice CA, and her performance was selected by Backstage West as One of the Most Outstanding Performances of the year.
