Biography

Daniel Dresner is a British actor, voice artist, coach and teacher who was born in Bolivia, grew up in Liverpool and London, lived and acted in Tokyo and trained and worked in New York City; before moving back again to London! His father was a Scottish engineer and his mother an English artist. Dresner earned an honors degree in Business before spending 7 years with multinational Olivetti, rising to the heights of Divisional Manager in the UK. After a year travelling/backpacking, he ended up in Tokyo Japan where he remained for 3 and a half years becoming a theater director, teacher and working actor. His first stage role was as Tony in A Woman in Mind by Alan Ayckbourn. His first feature film role was as the Archangel Gabriel in Nostradamus and his first TV roles were in the variety show Tunnels on Fuji TV. Recognising that further training was desirable, he moved to New York City where he studied at the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute and attained a certificate of excellence. His mos
