Biography

Marcia grew up in the woods of Muskoka and at the age of 16 moved to Toronto to attend Claude Watson School of the Arts. During her time at school she began to audition and land gigs as a professional singer and dancer. Even before graduating she had toured overseas entertaining Canadian and USO troupes stationed in Europe and the Middle East. She spent time on the SunViking cruise ship bringing the sounds of Broadway and old Paris to the Caribbean Seas. After completing her high school studies she moved to the New York City where she spend a summer studying at Circle in the Square, then 2½ glorious years with the famed actor's coach, William Esper of Rutgers University. She played the mischievous Misty Marlow on Another World (1964), sang back up for Shania Twain and performed comedy skits on Late Nite with Conan O'Brien. She has acted in over 2 dozen films, winning several film festival awards as well as landing a role in the Keanu Reeves' movie The Replacements (2000). After her
