Biography

Emmy nominated for her work on PBS station KCET's Arts and Culture program Take 5: The Arts, producer-writer-director Jill Demby Guest began her career at Maysles Films in New York City where she was an editor and assistant camerawoman. She subsequently produced and edited numerous films for PBS at WNET, NY. With a lifelong passion for biographical documentaries, Jill has worked in various post production and producing capacities on various bio-docs including James Cagney: That Yankee Doodle Dandy; Into the Morning: Willa Cather's America; Charles and Ray Eames and as a writer-director on Lifetime television's Intimate Portrait: Cindy Williams. A Promax Gold Award Winner for DVD Special Features, she directed and produced numerous documentaries for Warner Brothers and Disney. Her extensive credits include The West Wing; John Lennon: Imagine with Yoko Ono; National Treasure; The O.C.; High School Musical; Whatever Happened to Baby Jane and Without A Trace, among others.
