Jeff Dawn

As of 2022, I have department headed the make-up departments on over 40 films plus over 300 episodes on several television series. I specialize in action/adventure, futuristic/fantasy, war and period films, including seven with the actor, Dwayne Johnson. Before Arnold Schwarzenegger became Governor, I department headed 19 of Arnold's films. Also worked with action greats, Bruce Willis and Sylvester Stallone. I'm the 3rd generation make-up artist in my family. Grandfather, Jack Dawn, a make-up artist for over 35 years was the "Director of Make-up" at MGM studios from 1935 to 1950 and responsible for over 100 films, including The Wizard of Oz (1939). My father, Robert Dawn, was a decorated P-38 fighter pilot during WWII. After the war, Robert followed in his fathers footsteps by becoming a make-up artist for the next 35 years.
