Biography

Frank Dardis lives in Peosta IA with his wife Beth. His mother is Mary Eileen Alice Dardis. In 2015, Peosta's Frank was inducted into the Dubuque County Baseball Hall of Fame class along with: Worthington's Randy Dunkel, and Cascade's Joe Callahan. Frank and Beth have three sons, Sean, Egan and Brendan. They also have four grandchildren Andrew, Kate, Caroline and Cooper. Frank Dardis was City Clerk in Peosta IA from 1990-1999. President Richard Nixon appointed Frank Dardis to the US Air Force Academy. After leaving the Academy he served in the U.S. Air Force from 1973-1977. After Frank was honorably discharged from the Air Force, he returned to Peosta where he served as Postmaster along with his Mother. Since appearing in Field of Dreams as one of the White Sox players, he has been one of the Ghost Players representing the movie.
