Biography

Los Angeles commercial producer and actress. VP of Productions & Development with Flying Ape Productions. Clients include Fortune 1000 companies Colgate-Palmolive, Nabisco and Kelloggs; and national commercial spots including Pringles, Speed Stick and Chips Ahoy. Born and raised in Chicago, Cindy moved to California after receiving a scholarship to USIU in San Diego where she was a theater arts major. After a move to Los Angeles, Cindy was immediately cast as the character "Americana" on the 1980s syndicated television series G.L.O.W. (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling). Cindy's acting credits include HBO's "From the Earth to the Moon", Nickelodeon's "Kenan & Kel" and dozens of national commercial spots. In 2013, LOGO TV released the award-winning documentary "G.L.O.W. The Story of the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling" that features Cindy Ferda's story as the character of Americana during the rise of G.L.O.W.
