Biography

George Pan Andreas (born George Andreas Panousis) played leading roles in numerous theatrical productions including Broadway and off-Broadway plays. He opened the West Coast Academy of Dramatic Arts (formerly the Pan Andreas Theatre) with Oscar winners Jack Lemmon, Richard Dreyfuss, and Ginger Rogers (his godmother). He returned to film work in the early 2000s, forming his own production company, GPA Films International, which has produced films in which he starred: Crime Killer (1987) and a 2019 release, The Matadors (2017). The actor's family name was originally Palaiologos, but later changed and has been transcribed as Pan, Pan Andreas, Pan-Andreas, Panousis, Panoussis, Panoussi, Panigiotis, etc. The actor is a real estate entrepreneur in Los Angeles.
