Robert Alonzo

Robert Alonzo's journey through the film business began early on in the city of Angels. He started with his passion of animation at age six, when he began drawing flip pages of his favorite cartoons. He continued this until he was ultimately introduced to an obsession of martial arts that would last a lifetime. He first began his training with his brother at a very young age and earned black belts in Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido with Grandmaster Jun Chong. But Robert's devotion to martial arts was constantly fueled by the hunger for knowledge in all styles.This approach led him to train in multiple disciplines and to compete and excel in various international martial arts competitions. Although Robert's dedication to martial arts was self evident, his childhood dreams of film making continued with an academic scholarship to Loyola Marymount University, where he earned his BA degree in Studio Arts and Communication Studies, while minoring in Animation and Business Marketing.
