Lori Alter

Lori Alter is a Canadian actress, singer, and writer whose multifaceted career spans film, television, theatre, and music. She is best known for starring as Juanita Simmons in Disney's hit The Cheetah Girls franchise. A seasoned stage performer, she has appeared in over 3,000 live shows across North America, including a leading role as Jenny in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Aspects of Love, which led to a music publishing deal and original songs featured on multiple soundtracks. On screen, Lori has appeared in hundreds of television and film productions. She starred as Renata D'Allesandro in Power Play and as Anna Sophia Antonia Garces-Keller in Family Biz, with notable recurring roles on Leap Years (as Stokely Mullins) and She's the Mayor (as Lisa Dewitt). She also created, wrote, and produced the original comedy web series The LoJo Show, and has sold several comedy pilots. After stepping back from performing to raise her children and care for a family member, Lori continues to write and develop new creative projects across media.
