Lisa Hartman

Lisa Hartman is an American actress and singer from Houston, Texas. Her best known role was playing the protagonist Tabitha Stephens in the short-lived fantasy sitcom "Tabitha" (1977-1978). Her character was depicted as a young witch who worked as a production assistant in a television station. Tabitha was trying to start a career, while regularly dealing with supernatural events. The series was intended as a sequel to the hit sitcom "Bewitched" (1964-1972), with Tabitha being the grown-up daughter of the witch Samantha Stephens (played by Elizabeth Montgomery). The sequel series only lasted for 11 episodes, due to a rapid decline in its ratings. Hartman had started a professional singing career in 1976, with the release of the eponymous studio album "Lisa Hartman".
