Lisa Hartman is an American actress and singer from Houston, Texas. Her best known role was playing the protagonist Tabitha Stephens in the short-lived fantasy sitcom "Tabitha" (1977-1978). Her character was depicted as a young witch who worked as a production assistant in a television station. Tabitha was trying to start a career, while regularly dealing with supernatural events. The series was intended as a sequel to the hit sitcom "Bewitched" (1964-1972), with Tabitha being the grown-up daughter of the witch Samantha Stephens (played by Elizabeth Montgomery). The sequel series only lasted for 11 episodes, due to a rapid decline in its ratings. Hartman had started a professional singing career in 1976, with the release of the eponymous studio album "Lisa Hartman". She subsequently released the studio albums "Hold On" (1979), "Letterock" (1983), and "Til My Heart Stops" (1987).
