Biography
Sheila Curran Bernard is an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning filmmaker whose credits include Slavery by Another Name (2012, writer); I'll Make Me a World (1999, series writer); and Eyes on the Prize II (1990, producer/director/writer). She is also the author of Documentary Storytelling: Creative Nonfiction on Screen (Focal Press, 5th edition 2022), and co-author with Kenn Rabin of Archival Storytelling: Finding, Using, and Licensing Third-Party Visuals and Music (Focal Press, 2nd edition 2020).
