Biography

Matthew Harrison directed movies on the streets of New York City as a child while attending NY Public School. His feature debut Spare Me, a dark comedy, won awards internationally. Harrison's second feature film Rhythm Thief caught Martin Scorsese's eye when the picture won a Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. Scorsese executive produced Harrison's original screenplay and third feature Kicked in the Head. His avant-garde film Wrist at the Bronwyn Keenan Gallery in SoHo, New York. Matthew Harrison was schooled at P.S. 41, the Cooper Union School of Art and NYU. His television credits include HBO's hit show Sex and the City and Disney's Popular and Warner's Dead Last. Harrison's company Film Crash produces entertainment for both television and motion pictures.
