Biography

"The word "genius" was whispered into my ear, the first thing I ever heard, while I was still mewling in my crib. So it never occurred to me that I wasn't until middle age." Nowadays regarded as one of (if not, the most) important film directors of all time, started his career with a bomb. As a young and completely inexperienced filmmaker, he sought to direct "Citizen Kane", the most influential film of modern day. First thought of as a commercial failure, the world slowly took notice of his innovative use of new camera techniques and storytelling devices. And with each new installment in his filmography he continued to challenge what we thought that was possible in the art of cinema, changing fiction forever.
