Jeff Goldblum

Jeff Goldblum moved to New York at age 17 to pursue acting, studying at the Neighborhood Playhouse under Sanford Meisner and performing on stage, including his Broadway debut. He transitioned into screen work in the mid-1970s, taking roles in film and television that expanded his experience across media. Goldblum has sustained a career that bridges cinema, television and theatre, and he has incorporated voice work in commercials and other projects. Throughout his development he combined acting with teaching, co-founding Playhouse West and working with fellow performers to create and direct a live-action short film that received award recognition, showing his engagement with collaborative processes and projects beyond acting. In addition to performance, Goldblum practices jazz music with his band, Jeff Goldblum & the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, integrating musical work into his professional life.
