Jerry Orbach

Jerry Orbach pursued acting after early theatre exposure, studying at Northwestern University and then at the Actors Studio in New York with Lee Strasberg, which laid the groundwork for his stage work. He built his professional career in New York theatre, performing in both off-Broadway and Broadway musical productions that involved ensemble rehearsal processes and integration of singing and acting within narrative performance. Orbach transitioned to screen, gaining experience in television’s episodic production environments and on film while maintaining ties to live performance. His screen work included voice recording for animated features, engaging with vocal performance techniques in addition to on-camera acting.
