Meg Foster

Meg Foster studied acting at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York after growing up in Connecticut. She began her stage career in 1968 with a role in a Cornell Summer Theatre production of John Brown’s Body and appeared off-Broadway in The Empire Builders the same year. Her screen debut followed in 1969 with a role in a NET Playhouse episode. In television, she accepted a lead role in Cagney & Lacey for a brief first season before returning to a range of guest and recurring roles across decades, including appearances on Hawaii Five-O, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, and Xena: Warrior Princess. In film, her work included roles in genre productions and voice work.
