Biography

Originally from New York, Julie moved to California with her family in 1979. As a child, Julie competed in the U.S. Gymnastic Federation & showed horses, both English & Western. In 1982, Julie made her television debut playing Ricky Schroder girlfriend on NBC's Silver Spoons (1982). This lead to numerous guest star appearances & many film roles. In 1983, Julie won the Bronze Halo award from the Southern California Motion Picture Council for Best Up & Coming Young Actress & received a Young Artist Award nomination for her work guest starring on TV. The following year Julie landed her first series regular role on Personal & Confidential. After graduating high school, Julie was awarded a scholarship to attend The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, West. After finishing 1 year at AADA, Julie landed the role of Tawny Richards on NBC's Santa Barbara (1984). Julie also starred on the UPN series A.J.'s Time Travelers (1995) as Maria.
