Biography

Anita is a native New Yorker and a graduate of Hunter College High School and Queens College. In addition to her many years of TV and film work, and 7 years as Dr. Nora Thompson on "The Young & The Restless," Anita authored the bestseller, Dirty Words on Clean Skin, a shocking exposé that makes the political personal and tells it like it is for women aspiring to power. For 16 weeks, Dirty Words on Clean Skin was #1 on Amazon's Women in Politics books and has been accepted to the Clinton Presidential Library. A regular commentator on The Jerry Doyle Show and America's Radio News Network, Anita also speaks about women's empowerment at venues around the country. Working extensively as a solo performer, Anita wrote and performed "The Devil Takes A Wife" to acclaim in various Los Angeles theatres.
