William Paul Burns

William Paul Burns actor, screenwriter, director, producer, opera singer. After Northwestern University and Miami University he became a member of the Actors Studio in NYC, under the direction of Lee Strasberg. The Metropolitan Opera Training program started William professional carrier with the Metropolitan Opera Sextet, appearing in "Carmen" "Le Nozze di Figaro" "Boris Godunov" "La Boheme" "Mcbeth" etc. His singing carrier moved to Broadway, Winter Garden Theatre, in Mel Brooks / Joshua Logan / Charles Strouse / Lee Adams musical "All American". William was invited by Princeton University to be a Guest Artiest, teaching in the Humanities program. His work on Broadway includes "The Three Sisters," "After the Rain," "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest," "Man of La Mancha." "The Royal Hunt of the Sun," "Camino Real" - Tennessee Williams filmed this production, which is now in the National Archives at Lincoln Center, as the definitive work of his play and William as Kilroy.
