James 'Buster' Brown

Teacher, choreographer and master dancer who performed both on stage and in films. He was best known for his tap dancing, and the speed that he brought to his performances. His performances ranged from the stage to films such as Tap (1989) and The Cotton Club (1984). During his last years, he served as master of ceremonies for a weekly tap jam at New York City's Swing 46 club.
