Biography

Alan Brasington was born in Monticello, New York. After graduating from High School he attended the State University at New Paltz. He taught English for 2 years before auditioning for The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London where he received a scholarship - he graduated in 1967. He appeared on Broadway with the A.P.A. Repertory Company at the Lyceum Theatre in Cockadoodle Dandy, The Misanthrope, The Cocktail Party and Hamlet, and in many other Broadway shows including: A Patriot for Me, Shakespeare's Cabaret, Jesus Christ Superstar, Into the Light, Merlin, Two Shakespearean Actors and Charlotte Sweet.
