Biography

James Brandon trained at the Oxford University Conservatory program with prestigious teachers and actors such as Ben Kingsley, Alan Rickman, Fiona Shaw and Juliet Stevenson, among others. He is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts Repertory Company. Brandon has an extensive list of theatre credits ranging from Regional Theatre to International Tours. Perhaps best known for his work playing the lead role in the critically acclaimed revival of Terrence McNally's play Corpus Christi, Brandon was heralded by international critics for his performance, and continues to tour as a documentary film about the play is released. Brandon was a Producer and Acting Mentor for the Will Power to Youth program with Shakespeare Festival/LA, a nationally recognized youth arts initiative that employs inner-city youth to create, produce and perform their original adaptation of a Shakespeare play. Brandon also produces various theatrical events around Los Angeles where he currently resides
