Luis Brandoni is an Argentine actor and political figure with a long career in theatre, film, and television, which began in the early 1960s after joining the Comedia Nacional Argentina. His work continued even during the period in which he left the country due to threats from the Triple A, while also serving as secretary general of the Asociación Argentina de Actores, the only union not intervened during the military dictatorship. His artistic path includes two Cóndor de Plata awards. Alongside his acting career, he developed sustained political activity within the Unión Cívica Radical, serving as a national deputy and later running in several legislative and executive elections, eventually becoming a Mercosur parliamentarian.
