Biography

Elected to BAFTA in 2002, David Bowles is a recognizable and versatile British actor with a substantial international portfolio and known for his strong leading character portrayals. He lives in England, has worked across UK, Europe, Asia, USA, and also recently attached on multi-million dollar American 'superhero' epic Axa (currently targeted for 2023/2024). Notable projects to date include Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991) with Kevin Costner & Morgan Freeman; headlining with Oliver Reed in the Greek classic Orpheus & Eurydice (2000); and Olympiad 448 BC: Olympiad of Ancient Hellas (2004) co-starring with Roy Dotrice and Brian Blessed. He is also known for his earlier work with legendary German screen icon Maria Schell in the sequel to unique Mediterranean TV series 'Occupation' starring Kurt Jurgens and Klaus Kinski.
