Biography

Ilknur Boyraz was born in Sivas in Turkey, grew up in Lower Saxony, studied theater studies at the Freie Universität Berlin and completed her private acting training in Berlin. Since the mid-1990s she has been regularly in front of the camera for TV and cinema. At the beginning of her career she played in several TV series with the permanent cast. She gained popularity as nurse Yasmin with 66 episodes of the Sat 1 series "Alphateam" (directors: George Moorse, John Delbridge, Gero Erhardt and others). In 2001 she appeared on the big screen in the feature film HERZ directed by Horst Szcerba. Several seasons of the series "Rennschwein Rudi Rüssel" (ARD) and more than 100 episodes of the Telenovela "Lotta in Love" (ProSieben) followed. In 2017 Ilknur Boyraz was seen as the Saracen in the historical film "Die Ketzerbraut" (Sat.1, director: Hansjörg Thurn), in the same year she played the professor and ex-wife in the series "Kommissar Pascha" (ARD, director: Sascha Bigler and Matthias Steure
