Biography

Alexandra's varied career in film, TV, theatre and voiceover spans more than thirty five years. She grew up in Norwich, Norfolk in England. From an early age she studied all forms of dance and theatre. She trained professionally at Laine Theatre Arts and Drama Studio, London. She moved to the US in 1989 and lived there for nearly two decades. She now calls London, Suffolk and Washington her home. Her first film role was in Mr. Holland's Opus (1995) with Richard Dreyfuss. During ten years living in Los Angeles, she was cast by James Cameron in Titanic after researching the story and writing a monologue for her audition. She played a series regular (Clarissa Mason) in the long running soap Coronation Street and is the voice of Governor Elaine Marley in the cult video game, Tales of Monkey Island..
