Biography

Cheryl was born in Evanston, Illinois, to a Latin American father and a 1/2 Italian mother. She was raised in the twin cities of Iron Moutain/Kingsford, Michigan. Growing up, she was involved in various sports, lived in the country and enjoyed water skiing at their summer cottage. She learned to water ski at the age of 7 and little did she know she would be making a living by water skiing for over 12 years. She was a Cypress Gardens water skier for 10 of those years. World travel was just one of the perks of Skiing at Cypress Gardens. She also performed in numerous live ski, stunt and circus shows, leading her to become a Hollywood stunt woman for film and TV. She is a 2004 World Taurus Stunt Award nominee in 2 categories-Best Stunt by a Stuntwoman and Best High Work-in the movie Once Upon a Time in Mexico (2003). Cheryl is also the 2000 National Swivel Ski Champion. She took part in the World Record 5 tier human water ski pyramid featured on the cover of Water Ski Magazine July 1988.
