Reinhold Beckmann

After attending school, he first completed community service in a youth education facility. Beckmann then trained as a radio and television technician at the University of Cologne. There he also studied German as well as theater, film and television studies. Beckmann worked for WDR as a freelancer from 1980. He delivered documentary, cultural and music contributions for the program "Aktuelle Hour". In 1985 Beckmann also began working for the WDR sports department. In 1987 he created some TV reports.
