Tanya Beckett

Tanya Beckett studied at Redland High School, Bristol. She left in the summer of 1984 after A levels in Maths, Physics and Chemistry. She went on to study Metallurgy and Materials Science at Pembroke Collage, Oxford. Tanya then went to the city of London and worked for a bank. She also went to Germany to work for another bank. She then decided to work in media, working for the Financial Times and making shows for broadcast on Sky TV and CNBC. This gave her the breakthrough into presenting and she landed a job with the BBC.
