Joykenia Hill-Williams

Joykenia Hill was born on December 16, 1982 to the late Kenneth Ray Hill I and Sharon Hill in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is a 2001 Moss Point High School Honors Graduate, and a 2004 Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Honors Graduated where she received her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and served as a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Society. Joykenia is also a 2005 Hurricane Katrina Survivor of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She began writing at 8 years old, and began performing on stage at the age of 14. She was a drama club member in High School and studied Theater at The University of South Alabama in Mobile from August 2008 until April 2010. Joykenia wrote her very first stage play in 2013 and went on to Establish her own production company Lady J Productions where she writes, directs, and performs in her own stage play on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. She began working as a Background Actor for Central Casting Louisiana in New Orleans on August 30, 2016.
