Biography

Adam William Cahill was born in London to an Irish mother, Mary (Breen), a secretary, and English father, Tom Cahill, a security operative and union rep for Royal Mail. His parents divorced when he was five years old, at which point his mother took him and his younger brother, Brian, back to her hometown of Dublin, where they've lived ever since. Adam had always been a creative person and longed to be a performer from a young age. He began to sing as soon as he could speak, and loved to perform for audiences from as early as six years of age in karaoke bars and in his school choir. He also took part in school plays and went to drama classes. He had never been much of a reader, but having become enamoured with Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy, he felt compelled to read Tolkein's novels.
