Star's Co-Star roles include The Blacklist (NBC) and Mr. Robot (USA Network). She was born in North Carolina, but was raised in Oklahoma and Arkansas. Her father is African-American and her mother is Thai. English is her first language, Spanish is her second. Star started modeling around the age of seven, and she got her first-degree black belt in Taekwondo around the age of 13. Star graduated from Parkview Arts/Science Magnet High School, majoring in Drama while also studying Television Production at Metropolitan Career-Tech. During this time, she played sports, recorded music, and took courses with Barbizon Modeling and Acting. Years later, Star graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor's in Mass Communications emphasizing in Media Production, and a Bachelor's in Spanish.
