Amirah Johnson

A native of Washington DC, Amirah J is a born performer and competitor. She discovered her love for the stage at an early age, and has since honed her craft through years of hard work and dedication. With a natural gift for acting, she has captivated audiences with her exceptional range and depth of emotion. Her breakout role came in season 9 of Showtime's hit series Shameless, where she played the dynamic "Xan" opposite Golden Globe winner Jeremy Allen White. Amirah is also an accomplished competitive cheerleader. As a flyer, she has demonstrated her remarkable physical agility and strength. She also has a background in hip-hop dance and competitive gymnastics and is able to seamlessly incorporate this athleticism into her acting performances. When she's not on set or training, Amirah can be found spending quality time with her family and her two dogs. Amirah J has also worked on national commercials, several short films, and TV guest spots.
