Kari Staten

Kari Staten was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. She is an actor, writer & producer. She always had a secret passion for acting but didn't pursue it until later in life. During these past six years she has been blessed to work with some of the most amazing & creative people in this industry. Booking roles on Lost Ollie (2022) Devil in Ohio (2022) and Sacred Lies Season 2. She has booked Lead & Supporting roles in over 15 short films. A few of her short film favorites have been playing the mother of actor Brendan Fletcher (The Revenant) in the film The Road, as Sandra the interviewer in The Bus Stop and Leslie the mother with a secret, in Motherboard. This last short film earned the Best Comedy Scene award at the Action on Film Festival in Las Vegas. Kari has also started to write screenplays. She wrote and shot her first short film, Legion of Zoom (October 2020) which is now on the Festival Circuit. She is also working on her first feature film script, The Bicycle Diaries. This p
