Biography

Jodie Castellani is an internationally-awarded, published photographer, writer, and filmmaker based near Greenville, South Carolina. Her work as a producer, director, and videographer includes a cameo film of Dan Truhitte (who played Rolf in the 1965 Academy Award-winning film, The Sound of Music) in a tribute to Kym Karath (who portrayed "Gretl"). The event was hosted by the Filmmakers Gallery in honor of Kym's charity, The Aurelia Foundation, in a special screening at the Palm Springs Cultural Center. Other video productions have included a music video, That Ol' Econoline, of singer Thomas Truhitte. Her documentary film project, Collateral Damage, is presently being developed as part of her work at the Center for Documentary Studies program at Duke University.
