Allison Chin

Allison Chin was born in Northern California and raised in the Central Valley but would have to go through getting a B.A. in Sociology in Santa Barbara and a brief stint in Thailand before even considering a career in the film industry. But once settled into the City of Angels fully encapsulated by all that is acting and with a few years of studying at UCB and with teachers like Killian McHugh, David Coury, and Howard Fine under her belt, she has worked her way into HFAS' top Master Class, performed onstage at the Complex Hollywood, booked her first co-star role on a show streaming on Disney+, and landed a Comcast commercial for March Madness. Allison is a member of Women in Film and strives to uplift Asian-American stories through her love of acting. She welcomes the rare break by baking recipes she's been hoarding and making a dent in her long, long, book list.
