Valentin Le Du 5born 15 July 1992, better known by his stage name Vald (sometimes stylized as VALD), is a French rapper. He began his career with the release of his mixtape NQNTMQMQMB in 2012 and has released two mixtapes, two EPs and two albums. His two albums Agartha and Xeu have reached number one in France. Vald is known for his creative and sometimes absurd style and subject matter and has generated some controversies. Vald has also achieved a number one single with Désaccordé which has spent eight weeks at number one.
