Zain Ashar

Zain Ashar, is a multi cultural and multilingual, born and raised in Oslo, Norway, to Naila Firdos and Hussnain Ashar Syed, CEO of Fine Distribution AS. Growing up Ashar was taught 4 languages, Urdu, Punjabi, Arabic and Norwegian. He was also exposed to different religions and cultures as he was a part of the minority. Ashar spent the first 5 school years attending Norwegian public schools, and from 6th grade he began studying at Oslo International School, where he became fluent in English and graduated from high school with an International Baccalaureate Diploma. Ashar first got the opportunity to act in high school, and since then it became a passion for Ashar. The first theatrical performance Ashar was a part of was "Children of Killers" the cast was invited to perform at the Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh in 2011.
