Jacqueline Lee Geurts

Jacqueline Geurts (aka Jacky Geurts) was born in Hamilton, New Zealand and attended Hamilton Girls High. She moved to Auckland to attend Auckland University where she graduated in a Post-graduate Diploma in Marine Biology and Conservation Ecology. Jacqueline then transferred to Massey University and completed her Masters Degree in Marine biology graduating with first class honors. After graduation, Jacqueline began training as an actress while maintaining a career in Marine Conservation. She studied techniques such as The Method, Stanfords Misner, and presenting for camera. Initial roles included lead roles in University short films, theatrical roles such as Elvira in 'Blithe Spirit', performing at the Basement Theatre, and supporting roles in Indi films such as 'Destina' and 'Urban Turban'.
