Biography

Karim Fahmy is Egyptian, born in Dubai and moved to Vancouver, B.C. in August of 2010 with his parents and two sisters. His career began at the age of 4 in Dubai performing in television commercials and appearing in print ads. Karim was cast in the recurring role of "Urchin" in the blockbuster Fox TV series Prison Break (2005), which he filmed partly in Vancouver and in Morocco. He is the lead in the Feature Film Beautiful Voice as the Iraqi boy "Laith", directed and produced by director Chuck Russell. Karim starred in an animated TV series Nina's World (2015) season 2 as the recurring role of Hameed. His awards include a 2018 win for best actor for his recurring role on Prison Break (2005) at the The Young Entertainer Awards (2018) in Los Angeles and Young Teen Actor for his role in Prison Break (2005) at the The 39th Annual Young Artist Awards (2018). For his role on Copper and Light, Karim won Best actor at the MIC's Awards and the Joeys. Karim plays the Piano and trains with Jean L
