Keith Rushing

Harry Keith Rushing was born in Monroe, Louisiana. He is the only child of Harry and Marie Rushing. His dad was a math teacher and coach and instilled in Keith an invaluable work ethic. Keith took that work ethic and started his own paper manufacturing business and grew it to one of the most successful businesses in the paper converting industry. He sold the business and is now pursuing his passion for acting in film. "The biggest sale I ever made was getting my high school sweetheart to marry me," says Rushing. Shaundra and Keith have enjoyed 39 years of marriage and raised three wonderful children. Keith grew up in rural areas where trees and sports were the only options available. Learning at a young age that he was a natural athlete, this became his focus. He was on his way to pitching in the MLB when a career ending injury occurred his senior year of high school. After a short stint of baseball in college, Keith shifted his focus from a career in baseball to a career in business.
